🚀 Getting Started
Q: How do I join Pool Party?
Download the app from the App Store, open it, and hit Sign Up. You must be 18 or older to join the pool.
🏊♀️ How the Pool Works
Q: What is “the pool”?
The pool is a live, real-time space full of users in your selected city. It’s where connections happen.
Q: What do the colors mean in the pool?
Each user has a color to help you quickly understand your relationship:
- 🟢 Green – That’s you!
- 🟣 Indigo – Users who splashed you
- 🟡 Gold – Users you’ve matched with
- 🔴 Red – Users you removed from your pool
- 💖 Pink – Users who super splashed you
Q: How is the pool ordered?
The pool is ordered to show the most relevant users first:
- You (if you’re online)
- Users who super splashed you
- Boosted users
- Your matches
- Users who splashed you
- Everyone else in your city
💬 Making Connections
Q: How do I interact with people?
You have two ways:
- Splash 💦 – Let someone know you’re interested. If they splash back, you can start a video chat.
- Connect 📹 – Feeling bold? Skip the splash and jump straight into a video call.
Q: How do matches work?
During a video call, if both of you tap “Match”, you’ll unlock text chat. It’s a mutual thing—just like real life.
Q: What is “Swim Away”?
Not feeling it anymore? Go to your splash screen, select the user, and hit Swim Away. This will:
- Unmatch you
- Delete all chat history
- Remove any splash
To reconnect, you’ll need to video call and rematch again.
🙅♂️ Handling Bad Vibes
Q: What if someone is bothering me?
You have options:
- Ignore them
- Remove them from your pool
- They’ll be notified and must pay to re-enter.
- You can block them up to 3 times (each requiring payment to return).
- After the 3rd removal, they’re permanently blocked from your pool.
- You can manually allow reentry at any time.
Q: What if someone is being inappropriate?
You can report them:
- Tap their icon in the pool
- Open their profile
- Scroll down and select Report
- Submit your reason
Our team will review and take action, up to banning the user.
🕶️ Privacy & Visibility
Q: What is Incognito Mode?
Incognito Mode hides you from the pool. You can still see and call others, but they won’t see or call you. It’s perfect when you want to browse without being seen.
Q: How is that different from being offline?
Offline = you’re invisible and can’t interact.
Incognito = you’re invisible but you can still interact with others.
⚡ Boosts & Super Splashes
Q: What does a Boost do?
A Boost puts you at the top of the pool for all users in your city for a limited time. You’ll be the first thing people see.
Q: What is a Super Splash?
A Super Splash puts you at the top of one person’s pool, showing them you’re extra interested.
🧼 Account Settings
Q: Can I delete my account?
Yes. Go to the Profile tab > Settings > Delete Account.
Heads up: This action is permanent and deletes all your data.
